Big Relief for Bareilly Residents: Now Blood Cancer and Bone Marrow Transplant Treatment Available in the City

Bareilly: In a major healthcare milestone for the people of Bareilly and nearby regions, Max Super Speciality Hospital, Patparganj (New Delhi) has launched its exclusive specialty OPD services for Blood Cancer and Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) patients right here in Bareilly. The OPD will operate at Guru Nanak Hospital, offering advanced consultation and follow-up care for serious blood disorders.
The services were inaugurated in the presence of Dr. Satyendra Katewa, Director of Hemato-Oncology & Bone Marrow Transplant, Pediatric Oncology at Max Hospital, Patparganj. Dr. Katewa will now be available every second Wednesday of the month from 12 PM to 2 PM at Guru Nanak Hospital, Bareilly, to provide primary consultations and follow-up services to patients.

“Persistent fatigue, unexplained fever, or abnormal blood test results could be early signs of serious blood disorders. With timely diagnosis and proper treatment, recovery in nearly 70% of childhood cancer cases is possible,” he said.
He also highlighted that modern technologies such as Immunotherapy, CAR-T Cell Therapy, and Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) have significantly improved treatment outcomes for patients.

The new OPD services will benefit patients suffering from Thalassemia, Aplastic Anemia, Hemophilia, low platelet count, and various other bleeding and bone marrow disorders.
